Description
The rarest of raindows are the red rainbows, and capturing a double red rainbow is unheard of. The red rainbow occur at sunset when the Sun is just above and below the horizon. Short wavelength blues and greens are scattered most strongly leaving the remaining transmitted light proportionately richer in reds and yellows
